In 2019, APRAV initied a series of working groups to interrogate possibles solutions to the numerous challenges facing the RAF. Six streams of working groups were established and tasked with delivering proposals. The submissions have been filed on the SAMLA website under RAF Articles.

Access to rehabilitation (Return to Economic Productivity)
Access to protection and case management (Disabled Persons)
Medico-legal evaluation and reporting(RAF1 / 4, Narrative test, Appeal tribunal, etc.)
