Ashnie Maharaj, Occupational Therapist, obtained a BSc. Occupational Therapy (WITS) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation (UP) and engages in regular professional development activities related to my scope of practice.

Work experience includes a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience in the government and private health sector having worked in an Academic hospital environment, surgical environment, as well as a spinal and rehabilitation hospital. Corporate experience is extensive in the field of Disability management, disability claims administration, work site assessments and Functional Capacity Evaluation.

With a passion for Medicolegal matters, my Gauteng and KZN offices were opened in 2013 where I have offered medicolegal services to Plaintiff and RAF panel Attorneys to date. I am passionate about my work and all reports are completed within 3 working days provided that all relevant information is supplied. I am a member of several professional bodies to keep me abreast of the latest professional developments and enjoy networking in order to broaden my reach as a service provider. As a service provider I offer Medicolegal services as well as Disability and Case Management. I enjoy vocational rehabilitation and all aspects of preparation for return to work.

I plan to grow and expand my practice according to the needs of this ever changing industry.
