I am a qualified and registered clinical psychologist within the northern area of Durban, KZN. I believe that we heal in relation to one another and the therapy room is the setting for this healing. I have worked within different sectors of the Department of Health, including the KZN District Office, Forensic Pathology Services, Emergency Medical Rescue Services, and various local clinics, community health centers, and district, regional, and tertiary hospitals. I have also worked within the private sector and have been a Psychology lecturer at a prestigious private college in Durban. I currently work within the Department of Health, assessing and managing a broad range of psychological conditions, some of which include: mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, personality disorders, PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, conduct disorder, cognitive impairments, adjustment disorders, as well as grief, amongst a range of other conditions. I also work closely with the Department of Justice in providing assessment and expert opinion on forensic cases. My services include psychological assessment, medico-legal assessment, and psychotherapy. i work with both adults and children.
