Short CV

I last worked full time as a Project Director for an international organisation in Migration in South Africa. Before then, between 2007 and 2009 I Worked as a Chief Social Worker for Youth for Christ (YFC) and I was placed at the Johannesburg Central Prison and Modderbee Prison focusing on Probation and Juvenile Diversion Programmes. One of my greatest achievement with YFC is my involvement in 2008 as a panellist for the drafting of the current Child Justice Act. Between 2010 and 2012 I worked at JRS as the Education Co-ordinator with regards to basic education for refugee and asylum seeker children. My roles also included coordination of academic and orientation counselling to potential DAFI scholarship and HCI Foundation scholars. From 2013 to 2016 I worked as the Social Assistance Director. I last worked as the Programmes Director for the organisation and this is a profile that required one to direct programmes in Health, Education, Advocacy and Livelihoods for refugees in South Africa.
