Educational Qualifications and Special Achievements: 1996 – present General medical practitioner in private practice. Since 2016 >50% time dedicated to medicolegal matters. 2016 – Present Completed in excess of 700 medicolegal assessments / opinions / reports. 2016 Training as Independent Medical Examiner (IME) by the American College of Disability Medicine and American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. 2015 Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). 1994 Obtained the MBChB degree from the University of Stellenbosch with Academic Honours. 1985 Obtained the Diploma in Pharmacy with Academic Merit awards.
