NHI Bill has been approved by Parliament and is now ready for the President to sign. According to the Bill, NHI will be providing access to all South Africans regardless of how wealthy or poor you are. While NHI may provide access to all there are questions still questions lingering about the Bill. SAMLA explores the NHI Bill for its members highlighting the implications it may have for healthcare professionals and Constitutional rights of individuals which may be violated.
